Szczeliniec Wielki (919 m)
27 km from us.
The highest peak of the Stołowe Mountains.Together with Szczeliniec Mały (896 m) it rises 150 m above the village of Karłów, creating a wide, flat massif with many narrow crevices and deep ravines (up to 18m) with snow lying at their bottoms until summer. The road to the peak initially leads through gentle slopes. Then you walk along a short stony path through the forest and finally climb about 700 steps.
Błędne Skały (Errant Rocks)
14km from us.
Błędne Skały is a labyrinth of crevices and recesses, sometimes very narrow, separating several meter high rock blocks. Many rocks have their own names, such as “Rock Saddle” and “Hen’s Foot”. Near Błędne Skały there is the “Three Crosses Boulder”. A walk among the rocks is an exciting tour, especially when you have to squeeze through the narrow passages.
Adrspach - the town of rocks
33km from us,
It is an unusual set of sandstone formations modelled by water, frost and wind due to uneven resistance of rocks to weathering processes. The same processes were at play during the formation of the Stołowe Mountains. There is also a beautiful lake nearby. You can walk there along a route with viewpoints.
